Modern Seaside Styled Shoot

Nestled in a quaint cove in Avila Beach, we designed and collaborated on this modern seaside styled shoot. The vision for this shoot was based on a modern bohemian twist, with touches of nautical flare and coastal elegance.

Exquisite floral design was executed by the talented Rachael of Eden Floral. Her approach to floral design is whimsical and sustainable, using local farm-grown flowers and only using floral frogs and chicken wire to produce her amazing creations. Rachael’s design style is much like Rachael, romantic and whimsical, with old world and heirloom blooms and wild natural greens.

Complimenting your rentals with your flowers is a key piece when creating design cohesiveness, they must balance each other to create harmony in the design. We were so excited to use Avenue Twelve for our specialty lounge pieces, they seem to always have their finger on the pulse of new styles and design. Visiting their warehouse is such a blast, one could spend hours conceptualizing designs with all of their fun pieces! Our tabletop design was the perfect fusion of bohemian and modern, clean lines and gold accents were a perfect touch to achieve a look of seaside modernism. The flowers definitely played the role of whimsy on the table, which rounded out our vision for design perfectly!

Our dear friend and talented photographer, Michelle Roller has been my go-to gal for styled shoots for quite some time. Her vision behind the lens is exquisite and we work so well together. Her natural eye for capturing romance, can simply be put -Michelle is a romantic herself.
