Ragged Point Wedding by San Luis Wedding Planner Sandcastle Celebrations

Zachary and Annika tied the knot this past August at Ragged Point, one of San Luis Obispo County’s beautiful coastal venues. Their celebration was captured by the very talented Tamara Wickstrom— a San Luis Local and lover of capturing real moments. Ragged Point Inn’s location offered Northern California Coastal for Annika and Zachary’s wedding, a lot of natural decor were used throughout the overall design with some whimsical bohemian touches in the floral designs by Precious and Blooming. The floral tabletop installations bridged the coastal classic design with Annika’s playful bohemian side perfectly.

Please read on through Annika’s reflection of her wedding start to finish, “Hiring Janet was one of the best decisions that my husband and I made in planning our wedding. We hired her for wedding planning before we picked a venue and after hearing a description of what we envisioned, she actually recommended the venue that we ultimately chose for our wedding. She also gave us lots of recommendations and options for vendors based on our budget and style, but was just as happy to work with any vendors we found independently. Despite only hiring her for “month of” coordination, she made herself available via email for any and all of our wedding questions for the many months leading up; she quickly understood the vibe and aesthetic we were going for; she advocated for us when meeting with our venue coordinator; she thought of every single detail before we did and she maintained an amazing attitude about all of it throughout the process.

I emailed her frantically 3 days before saying that my table number signs never showed up and of course, she told me not to worry about it — magically, table numbers showed up on the day of the wedding that matched our overall design aesthetic On the day of the wedding, I was not made aware of a single logistical snafu, despite the fact that w/ a party for 115, there must have been some! Janet discreetly and effectively took care of any issues that arose which allowed both of us to enjoy the entire wedding day without worrying about whether or not the random person who showed up w/o RSVP-ing got dinner (of course, Janet made sure she did). I didn’t worry at all about vendors knowing where they needed to be and when, or the timeline, or moving the party along effectively. Janet solves problems, thinks of creative solutions and best of all knows when to ask you your opinion and when to solve an issue without bothering you! We got rave reviews from all of our family and friends about how smoothly everything flowed, which was not our doing at all.
